Rachel is friendly, caring, and creative. When she grows up Rachel wants to be a helicopter pilot or a race car driver. Now if she can only fix her dad's lawn mower before he finds out she took it apart. This often comes in handy on an adventure. She can fix a bicycle, and likes to take things apart to find out how they work. (Luckily she has more cautious Kirsty along as a spotter, because Rachel hardly ever watches where she's flying). She loves doing loop-de-loops and racing with dragonflies. She is often shown wearing her fairy dust locket.

The colour of her eyes is unknown but in the film, she has blue eyes. In the film, her hair is kept down and curls at the ends. Reaching people through the written word inspires me, as it does when I’m reading a story (fiction or non-fiction) that I can truly get lost inside. Writing has been a passion of mine since a very early age, having crafted many different stories over the years, some even winning awards.

I’m still focused on my busy career, and I continue to study in the field I work.Īt the same time, writing is my creative outlet, and has been helpful and in some ways cathartic through the tougher times of my life. I moved to the UK to follow my career aspirations at around thirty, and that’s where I met my now husband, and where we settled. I grew up in a seaside town just north of Brisbane, Queensland, and my mother still lives in the same house today. I’m Australian born, though I have been living in the United Kingdom now for almost thirteen years.
